Continuing Education Credits for ICP-Sponsored Workshops

Interpersonal Communication Programs, Inc. (ICP) is approved to offer 16 CE credits (or other credits as specified), as follows:

Counselors:

ICP is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors. We adhere to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines.

Meets requirements for or has been approved for 16 hours (except where indicated otherwise) of CE credit by:

FL Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, registered through CE Broker

Approvals pending for other states where required

Family Life Educators:

Approved for 1.6 CEUs for the Certified Family Life Educator Program through the National Council on Family Relations.

Marriage and Family Therapists:

Meets approval for MFTs and qualifies for 16 hours (except when indicated otherwise) of CE credit for:

CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (No. PCE 13)

FL Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, registered through CE Broker

MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy

Approvals pending for other states where required

Psychologists:

MN Board of Psychology for 15 CE hours

Social Workers:

Meets qualifications for 16 hours (except where indicated otherwise) of CE credit for LCSWs or is approved for social workers by:

CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (No. PCE 13)

FL Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, registered through CE Broker

         

NASW This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Provider #886504850) for 16 continuing educational contact hours for the following states:  AK, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, ND, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, Virgin Islands, VA, WA, WI, and WY.

A general Certificate of Attendance will be available for all attendees, however, for the approved professions listed above, a specific certificate will be sent following the workshop. The specific certificate requires a $15.00 payment per certificate.

Note: ICP, Inc. seeks continuing education approval (for the professions listed above when necessary) for the states (and sometimes nearby ones) in which we will be holding workshops currently. If you are from a state different from one in which we hold a workshop, and wonder if it will meet approval in a profession listed above for your state, please call 1-800-328-5099 and ask for Dr. Phyllis Miller, the Director of Continuing Education. Many times we have sought and received approval from other states in the past for our workshops, and we can often make arrangements when necessary for those states for continuing education for these current workshops.
