NEW PROGRAMS FOR BUSINESS

A number of instructors of the COUPLE COMMUNICATION program have, over the years, also become instructors of our business program, COLLABORATIVE TEAM SKILLS (CTS). Recently, Sherod Miller, the originator of these programs, revised CTS and developed a more comprehensive communication skills system for a business environment called the I-SkillsZone. We thought you would like to be aware of the revised and the new program, as well as the instructor training for them, for any organizational work you might do or for passing on to someone else for whom they would fit.

In addition, Sherod teaches a one-day workshop for managers and leaders called COMMUNICATING IN DIFFICULT SITUATIONS, which also may be of interest.

We believe you will find the same excellent quality as is in COUPLE and CORE COMMUNICATION (for individuals) in these new programs. We want to give you some generalities about them and then direct you to their websites.

The I-SkillsZone and revised CTS provide systems for productive individual and team communication. The integrated maps, skills, and tools apply in a wide range of challenging, on-the-job situations, such as:
Critical, Difficult Conversations
Decision-Making, Problem-Solving, and Conflict-Resolving
Coaching
Customer Service
Performance Improvement
Change Management

From your COUPLE COMMUNICATION teaching, you will likely recognize many of the concepts and skills, which have been re-developed for companies. You can learn more about the I-SkillsZone and revised CTS, their materials, and details of their instructor training (including discounts on the fee for previously attending a workshop or for being certified), by visiting:
www.I-SkillsZone.com

The COMMUNICATING IN DIFFICULT SITUATIONS Workshop equips managers and leaders to understand and facilitate positive solutions to festering, conflicted, or critical situations. This leadership ability is especially appropriate for people in fast-paced, complex, competitive, and often high-pressure company environments. The workshop also gives someone unfamiliar with our work a practical experience of it.

Besides some of the communication maps and skills that you know from your COUPLE COMMUNICATION instruction, COMMUNICATING IN DIFFICULT SITUATIONS provides additional tools and guidelines for business people to put to use immediately in challenging settings. Thank you for the help you have provided couples and individuals through teaching the COUPLE or the CORE COMMUNICATION program. We think you will find these new business systems to be another valuable set of resources.
