The Gap Quiz: A Free Tool to Market CC

The Gap Quiz is a 12-item questionnaire intended to create interest in COUPLE COMMUNICATION. Partners who take the quiz discover their communication gaps with one another. This helps to heighten their awareness of the need for the COUPLE COMMUNICATION program.

Instructors can use the Gap Quiz in various situations. Some possibilities include using it as:

• A warm-up for a preview session on CC.
• An insert in a church bulletin.
• An attention-getter at a county fair or health fair.
• An informal assessment tool in a counseling or therapy practice.
• Part of an article about the CC program in a client or organizational newsletter (which could also tell how to get the CC Couple Brochure and announce the next class.)

At the bottom of the Gap quiz, a line tells partners to ask for a brochure (this would be our regular Couple Brochure, which is now in color) plus it tells them whom to contact (this is where you put your name, phone, etc.).

You are welcome to reproduce the Gap Quiz for the purpose of marketing the program. Reproduction for any other purpose is prohibited.
